Wedding & Portrait Photography

Psycho Photography

No pastel filters. No fifteen-minute forced family lineup. Just the real, unposed minutes of your day, shot close and shot honest.

A wedding photo shouldn't look like a Pinterest board. It should look like you.

Psycho Photography exists for couples who don't want the traditional treatment — the forced smiles, the fifteen-minute family lineup, the gallery that looks like everyone else's gallery. We shoot loud weddings and quiet ones, black tie and backyard, the same way every time: close, unposed, and a little bit obsessive about catching the moment before it's gone.

Weddings & Portraits

Full-day coverage and portrait sessions, shot black and white so the moment carries the frame — not the color grade.

No posed lineups, no forced smiles. Just the real minutes — a hand found in a crowd, a laugh nobody scripted, a look before the doors open — the ones you'll actually want on the wall in twenty years.

Dark Landscapes

Storm-chasing between wedding seasons — the same patience for bad weather that we bring to a bad-weather wedding day.

A Story — How A Day Goes

A style preview, not a specific client's day — this is the kind of coverage a full wedding day gets, start to finish.

No Car Chase Required

When a couple leaves on a motorcycle instead of a limo, there's no chasing the shot. We know the route ahead of time, get somewhere on foot before they arrive, and let the moment come to us instead of running after it.

That's the job on a day like this: know the plan well enough to be in position before it happens, then stay out of the way completely once it does.

Behind Psycho.

I'm Ty. I started out shooting for a tattoo studio, not a bridal boutique — that's still how I shoot weddings. Like there's something true happening in front of me that I need to catch before it's gone, not something staged that I need to arrange.

One photographer, every wedding — no handing your day to an associate you've never met. Based in Freehold, New Jersey, covering weddings across Central Jersey and beyond for the right story.
